Dealer Funnel Trade

The trade-in number that books the appraisal.

A shopper types a license plate and gets a real estimate in about ten seconds — your number, built from live market data and your own rules. They lock it in, snap six photos, pick a time, and the whole thing lands on a lead in your inbox.

Included in every plan · no per-lookup pricing games · your leads stay yours

Ten seconds, start to number

Plate in. Number out. Honesty in between.

Most trade widgets are a lead form wearing a calculator costume. This one actually values the car — and tells the shopper what it’s doing while it does it.

Tell us the car

A license plate and a state, a 17-character VIN, or year, make and model — whichever the shopper actually knows. Mileage, and that's it. No ZIP, no email gate.

Watch it work

No spinner. The shopper watches the real steps run: reading the plate, decoding the VIN, checking title history, pulling live market data for their state, matching trims.

Confirm the car

A photo of their actual trim comes back — they pick their color and the photo re-renders. “Is this your car?” beats a form every time.

Two honest questions

Condition in four tiles — like new, clean, average, rough — then tap-the-damage chips priced from your own deduction schedule. “Be honest — the appraisal confirms it, and surprises cost everyone.”

The value step

One number they can lock in — and see the math behind.

Show a single number or a range that ends at your number — your call, per store. The shopper sees where their condition sits on the rail, a “how we got here” receipt with every deduction they reported, and what they’d walk away with after their payoff. Your targets and margins are never in it.

Locking in holds the number for 7 days by default, texts them a value certificate, and starts the photo check. Prefer to capture the lead first? Text-first mode masks the number until they enter a mobile — then texts it and reveals it on the spot.

After the lock

A certificate, six photos, and a booked appraisal.

The certificate spells out exactly what the appraisal will confirm, so nobody walks in surprised. The photo check takes about three minutes on their phone — with framing guides and lighting nudges — and the picker books a real pending appointment with reminders and the CRM push, 30-minute slots on your store’s clock.

On their phone

Built for the couch, not the desk.

The whole flow runs where shoppers actually are. The photo check frames every shot against a reference of their own car, takes camera or library uploads, and nudges on dark or blurry shots before the store ever sees them. Started on a laptop? A QR code hands it to their phone and the desktop mirrors the shots arriving, live.

The number, wherever they are

Your side of the number

The customer sees one number. You see all three.

Every trade lead lands in the inbox under its own source with the vehicle already decoded, the condition story, the photos, and a Trade card showing what the customer saw next to your target and the market. Confirm it, counter it — with a preview you edit before it texts — or book the appraisal, from the same screen you’d answer any lead.

Lead scores move on trade signals, your team gets pinged the moment someone locks in, and the Trade report runs the whole funnel — valued, locked, photographed, appraised, sold — with a pipeline of every open trade and its next step. See reports

Tuned to your store

The number is yours to shape.

Your number, not a guide's

Start from the market tier you choose, adjust every vehicle by flat dollars or percent, clamp high-mileage and older cars, and set floors and ceilings. Round to $50 so it reads like a human wrote it.

Rules per vehicle

Match on make, model, trim, year, or miles and adjust, reprice from wholesale or retail, or route the match straight to an appraiser with no instant number.

A human where it matters

Salvage titles, frame damage, warning lights, severe accidents — cars you choose never get an instant number. The shopper sees “let's have the team take a look” and books instead.

Value Watch

An opt-in monthly re-check that texts the shopper only when their number moves. A reason to come back that isn't an ad.

Calibrate against reality: feed it cars your store actually bought and it shows where your settings would have landed — suggesting changes, never applying them.

One tool, every door

On your site, in the chat, from your team.

Your website

A hosted page at your own short link, an inline embed, a floating “Value your trade” button, or your own button wired with one attribute. Stores running our chat get it docked under the chat bubble automatically.

The chat and Carly

The “What's my trade worth?” chip opens the same flow inside live chat, and Carly runs valuations in her own replies — she never invents a number; the tool computes it.

Your team

Reps text a sealed 30-day invite link with the vehicle pre-filled, or run the value from the composer and text the estimate — every message previewed before it sends.

It replaces the standalone trade-widget vendor — typically $300–$900 a month for a tool that sells your own leads back to you. See everything Dealer Funnel replaces

Good to know

Straight answers.

Is the estimate an offer?

No — it's an estimate built from live market data for the shopper's state and mileage plus the dealership's own guidelines. A locked-in number is held by the dealership pending an in-person appraisal and verification of title, liens and condition.

What does “lock it in” mean?

The dealership holds the shown number for a set window — 7 days by default — pending a quick look in person. The shopper gets a value certificate by text and a six-photo check they can finish in about three minutes.

Where do the values come from?

Live market data localized to the shopper's state and mileage, shaped by the store's own targets, adjustments and deduction schedule. The shopper-facing number is always the store's number.

Who sees the shopper's information and photos?

The dealership only — never a network of dealers. Links are sealed tokens with no lead IDs in the URL, texting requires explicit consent, and lookups are throttled and capped per store.

What does it cost?

Nothing extra. Like everything on this page, Dealer Funnel Trade is included in every plan — it replaces the $300–$900/mo standalone trade-widget line on your vendor bill.
